• Our yard looks similar but since she's a lab Tara starts in the dug out part and then literally plows through to a new spot. The cone gets filled with snow and its quite the operation to clean off when she comes in. Took DH 3 hours to clear our driveway and cars yesterday, It stopped snowing here before it did south of us.   • Thanks for all the concern! We were sitting here yesterday (we had all just gotten home) and a sprinkle of rain that had started turned into a monsoon. The wind was whipping around and I heard a lot of noise in the backyard and then a huge crash. DH went out and was checking for damage (in the middle of the storm, I might add) and found that about 15 feet of our soffit was torn off the back of the house. Thankfully, we had no structural damage, but the soffit fell on our pool screen. With everything whipping around, he had to get on an aluminum ladder (and reach out through our second-story bedroom window), to retrieve all of the pieces. (He was afraid of it flying off and taking out a window...a neighbor's window...). We're alright, but it was loud (and a little bit scary) and now he has to make sure he has it all repaired before we get our next rain... I swear this storm came out of nowhere!!!   That rectangle in the dash in front of the passenger's seat is a little cubby that is PERFECT for holding my felt pens, etc. I got about 10 drive-by letterboxes while in southern Oregon, nice to be able to do the stamping in the car! AND I was able to leave my supplies in that cubby without having to pack them away between boxes. Excellent! I'll post later about mom's birthday, need to upload a couple of photos. The thing with alpaca is that the fleece comes in a whole bunch of natural colors, so you don't need to dye it. • Good News!!! Jenna's ultrasound of her lower spine came back normal!! Now we can procede with physical therapy and hope that the weakness she is exibiting is from lack of stimulation the first 8 months of her life. She's making great strides in her development and scoots around the den jabbering away. She has finally gotten to where she can pull up on the couch and while it took 10-15 minutes, she sidesteped and cruised the whole length yesterday. Thanks for the thoughts! • I just got back from going on a field trip with both DS's classes to the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. It was so much fun being a class mom and I had my own little group of which I was in charge. The children had a ton of fun riding on a school bus and they got such a kick when the bus would go over bumps or turn on a bend and we would all squish each other :). The actual symphony was fabulous and the conductor made it interactive which was a great idea. They had a tap dancer and a quartet that played a song with paper bags. An absolutely fantastic day!!
