• Well, we Leo's are bull-headed and have to be boss... that's certainly accurate, BUT, I live with a Virgo, so that got overruled real quick! For the winter travel horriblescope: "loves to dress up..." HA! However, loves culturally rich cities and stays in a castle... awe hell feckin' yeah. • Well, I'm supposed to go to Berlin as I like to discover new places and am interested in history and politics. I do like history and visiting new places and wouldn't mind a trip to Berlin should someone offer to pay, but it's not tops on my list and certainly not where I'd go in the winter.   • You know Leigh, the symbol for Pisces is represented by two fishes with heads in opposite direction. It means that there are two different personnalities in Pisces, there is the one turned towards the spring who is more introvert and the one turned towards the ocean who has a more outgoing personnality, adding to that your ascendant (I guess it's called 'rising sign' in english) is scorpio, really gives you an edge! • Great job this week Renfro! I think it is very important to play scenerios in your mind so that you have a bit of a chance to make decisions before you really have to. Oh, and speaking of 5 irons, The other day, I thought DH and gone to the store and it was just me and the new baby at home. I heard the garage door open and then the basement door beeped (we have an alarm system). I grabbed one of the golf clubs out of the upstairs closed and was headed down stairs to beat the snot out of whoever it was. Found out it was DH, he had forgotten to get something and had come back. • Wow, MIA again this week, and likely for next week too. Dh is very unwell with his asthma and the doc really got into him this week when he finally went. Went to see New Moon with my adult niece yesterday and taking my own kids today. Still haven't started my speech though Tracy's suggestion of "Colin Farrell what" might just be the opening! On the breakin front, I just found that the security grill on my front door has been pushed in so far I will have to get the door replaced so I don't know if this is just malicious damage which must have happened while I was at work or a foiled breakin attempt, but icky feelings either way.   • OMG! How scary! That's the kind of things I don't want to think about when I go to bed most of the time with a husband gone! But on the other hand, DH would be here would be a good chance for him to be hurt or killed! Pat was lucky the guy didn't rush him! Right after our wedding, DH went away for 6 months and the neighborhood wasn't the safest. I woke up once with police lights reflecting through all the windows in my bedrooms (the cops were parked on my grass) and an helicopter was hovering in my huge backyard with the search light on! So I know the feeling of waking up like this! I did sleep in Rambo style though, baseball bat under the bed, DH's survival school knife under the pillow and BB gun on the night stand!   • Hi Sallie!! I got the furniture into the bathroom but ran out of time and haven't hung up the wall cabinet yet. I have the tower in place but haven't decorated it yet. That is tomorrow morning's job :) Tonight we didn't get home till 6:30 and then the boys wanted to put up the tree so we worked on that and then I got the idea to do garland on the staircase so worked on that. • I am going to practice the moves with the DBF Ren. I appreciate the info and watching the videos is fun. The house is a bit messy as we've started pulling out some decorations. My mom and dad started at their place and they decided to thin out their "collection" this year and have given my brother some stuff and me some stuff. • OT. Another wind/rain storm came through our area yesterday and last night. Lots of areas have power outages (that's likely why the First Beach web cam is dark, last night they said all power was out between Forks and Neah Bay). Lots of school closures. Fortunately, our neighborhood appears unaffected, for now. But there's always the next blast due to hit tonight. The coast is getting hammered. So far the rivers are only under flood warning, but that's only because this storm has been cold, not a pineapple express, so it's falling as snow in the mountains. If we should get a pineapple express later (as we usually do in November) we'll likely have serious flooding....this is starting to remind me of 1990 when we had horrible widespread flooding over Thanksgiving.       • I've got a little bit bigger bundle of the crazies with Seamus. Even though he is a smaller Beagle he loves to come running at me full steam ahead and jump on me. From mid thigh down I'm always covered in bruises. It's endless jumping, jumping, jumping. He is short, solid and meaty. Heaven forbid I have something in my hand or crinkle a paper. He is nosey, demands 100% attention and always, always is looking for something to eat. I've tried all the training tips on him and it doesn't work. I can't yell at him because of his face, it's the cutest little face with heart shape bubbles just always beaming out of his eyes. He is just so sweet but so naughty!! • Thank you, thank you, thank you. So far it has been a pretty good day. I get to go out to dinner with DH to my favorite Italian restaurant tonight and then cake with friends at the house. DH ordered by very favorite petit fours. I also got a very special gift from my dad, he sent me my great-grandmother's gold and diamond wedding band. It was also my mom's band before she and dad split up, but it is engraved with great-grandma's initials. I thought it a wonderful gift for my 40th birthday.
