Here you have a game you could use for your classes.
Time: depends on how many things you will ask for.
20 things-15 mins. approx.
Materials: backpacks and as many things as the ss. can carry.
Area of application: listening and vocabulary
The students will gather in groups. The teacher will ask the students to put in a backpack as many things as they can. Every type of things. One backpack per group. The students will be numbered. The teacher will say a number and a thing he wants them to take to him from the backpack. The student with that number will look for the thing in the backpack and if she/he has it she will run to give it to the teacher. The first student to give the thing will score a point for the group. The group with more points will win.
