Thank you for all the kind words from both friends and fans. The RK journey was one that created bonds that will remain unbroken! Here in PA, Rose and I are starting a new chapter of our lives, new careers, better lifestyle, a chance for us to mature as individuals as well as a couple. While Rose is taking steps towards her life dream career, I will be getting more involved in my musical compositions, hoping to release an album by next year under my own label. I miss the loud roaring amps & drums behind me already… Ian’s attitude, Kevin’s charisma and amazing precision, Jeff’s sarcastic yet intelligent humor, Tommy’s blonde farm girl alter ego, Rob’s half-broken sticks flying inches past my head… Girls dancing on stage, Fans screaming, sweaty teenage kids crowd surfing and yelling the lyrics to songs that I first heard before they were born… I must say, I never felt so welcome in any other stage other that a Rock Kandy show. We don’t do this for money, or fame, or even for sexual gratification… it has to be the addictive feeling we get from having people enjoy themselves and have a good time in our company while we play the music we all like. Thanks to RK for the last year and eight months I had a blast, improved 200% on my playing ability because it was rightfully expected from me, got to pick on Jeff every chance I had… why?... because I am a guitar player, and even made an overall positive bond with all that surrounded from avid fans like the Stud and the Kandy girls, to my brothers in the band, to ex members that still joined us from time to time. For all that you gave me, Thank you!! I owe all of you an apology for the emotional parting at Casey’s, for I am not one to leave anything unsaid or unexpressed. I will not be a stranger, in fact, look behind you, I may just be there one of these days. We will certainly keep in touch, you will be missed. Rob, Chrissy, Kevin, Tommy, Christie, Ian, Jeff, Mike, Lisa, John, Kandy girls, fans – Thank You – We will meet again soon.
