Parents, please do your homework before taking your children to the "casting call" this weekend at the Holiday Inn.

Ask me...I will be glad to help and guide you.

It is a scam. They will ask for thousands of dollars and then will ask you to go to Pennsylvania. This is after they take pictures of your child that you will never see.

I have tried my best to stop these scams from coming into Valdosta. Sadly, anyone who pays the radio may advertise and anyone who pays may rent out the ballroom at the conference center or the Holiday Inn. No one ever asks to see a Business License or proof that they are legit.
