This is a main stage production produced by Theatre Guild Valdosta and The Gingerbread Players of TGV. On January 4th we will audition 6-10 year olds from 2-4:00pm, 11-14 year olds from 4:30-6:30pm and 15year olds -adults beginning at 7:00pm. On Monday January 5th auditions will begin at 6:00pm. *We encourage you to come to the Sunday auditions if possible. Tuesday-Wednesday is reserved for call backs beginning at 5:30pm, and Sunday January 11th will be a 2:00 read-through and mandatory cast and crew orientation. Parents of children in the cast/crew will be required to attend and all cast will need to sign-out scripts with a deposit at that time. Ages 6 to adult are encouraged to audition. There are 28 speaking roles, and the possibility of additional non-speaking parts. Peter Pan is a full scale musical. Everyone auditioning needs to come prepared to sing. We require 16 bars with NO musical accompaniment. Please limit your selection to 16 bars. We will have to cut you off after 1 minute due to time constraints. Simple choreography will be taught as part of the audition process. We strongly suggest you download an audition form from this website (below) and complete it prior to arrival. We require a wallet sized (no larger than 3X5) photo for auditions. This photo may be stapled to your audition form or printed in the appropriate box (on your audition form) if printed at home. Photos will not be returned. They are only used for casting purposes - to help us remember you! We do not provide free photos at the door and if you do not have a photo you will not be permitted to audition. Sorry, there can be no exceptions. Peter Pan opens on March 12th and runs March 12-14th, 19-22nd and 27-29th. Cast and crew members must be willing to commit to attending ALL rehearsals - no missed rehearsals will be permitted. We plan to rehearse Monday -Thursday from 6-8:30pm and Sunday anytime from 2:00 on. The last few weeks before the show expect longer rehearsals. This show may not be appropriate for young children or those who have other commitments during the run of the show.
