Subject: Any directors willing to try?

Can any Directors execute this dream?
Name: Annual Pageant Championship
Time of year: November or December, but only once a year
Price: only to cover ballroom cost
Prize: framed certificate with some type of “pageant” seal
Winners: only 3: a) baby-7 b)8-14 c)15 and up
Eligibility: National title holders from all glitz pageants that year: ultimates, grands, mini-grands and overalls (excluding Photo titles), no else may enter, all encouraged to be in audience! (a bigger venue than a hotel ballroom, perhaps)
Events (all mandatory, except “babies” do 1 pro-am event):
1. Beauty
2. Swim
3. Casual
4. Pro-am to contestant’s pre-selected music
5. Pro-am to wild-card music
# of Judges: seven

Rules:
1. No contestant (no matter what age) may receive off-stage coaching (this does not mean young children will have parent escort, but they may not prompt.)
2. 2.5 minute time limit per event, 1/10 point deduction per 30 sec over-time
3. The 3 winners may re-compete up to 5 consecutive times before retiring from the Championship competition

Scoring:
A. Beauty
a. Babies: happiness, personality, dress, facial beauty
b. Older: eye contact, turns, poise, genuine smile, facial beauty
B. Swim
a. Babies: happiness, personality, suit
b. Older: physical fitness, confidence, execution
C. Casual
a. Babies: happiness, personality, outfit
b. Older: overall-look coordination, confidence, execution
D. Pro-am
a. Babies: faces, exceeding age-appropriate ability
b. Older: multiple and genuine expressions, use of various levels (ie from floor to jumping), beat, level of difficulty, execution of advanced technique
