前列腺問題(如發炎)一般係用探肛形式(叫DRE)檢查。至於前列腺發炎﹐儘管發炎亦可以係無菌性發炎﹐如果屬於呢個category則驗尿都會係negative... 你都係去醫生度檢查好。

試紙驗尿主要係驗腎臟同輸尿系統問題(如有否感染､蛋白尿､血尿等)。如果醫生懷疑你有問題會安排你收取尿液樣本進行再一次檢查(叫MSU/clean catch)再一步照顯影劑X-光/超音波/膀胱鏡等唔同方法搵出。

至於檢驗PSA(前列腺癌抗原)則有個問題: 唔夠specific...因為其他因數都可以令PSA昇高(如前列腺感染､服用某類藥物)﹐所以要問泌尿專科意見。
