嗯﹐有冇depression應該由psychiatrist斷定(一般係由你family doctor轉介去psychiatrist...)因為有好多病都可以有depression presentation...亦有好多人覺得有depression其實唔係clinically depressed (e.g. simply low in mood / bereavement)。

就算真係被diagnosed clinical depression, depression itself 有分輕度重度﹐用藥或者其他方法(如CBT/group therapy)等有唔同成效。

所以要diagnose and treat可以係好複雜一件事﹐普通醫生都會去refer你去psychiatrist...希望你去睇睇醫生先唔好self-diagnose...至於你參加個project所食藥係SSRI antidepressant 一類(Prozac亦係同一類)。主要副作用包括腸胃不適同性功能障礙等(唔係個個有)。

真係希望你睇睇醫生先﹐因為simply feeling "low" can be clinical depression or can be something else...
