呢度有兩個問題

(1)Antibiotics
Cefalexin係first generation cephalosporin(英國已經好少用﹐我亦從來唔會開)...主要係用係UTI﹐一般UTI做完MSU C&S之後都應該知道邊幾隻藥可以用﹐但可能有D情況(如患者正懷孕/懷疑有身孕)則可能用D track-record較為安全者(如first generation cephalosporin)..而Flagyl一般係用係anaerobe-->gut/GU度用好有效。

可唔可以詳細D講點解要用flagyl同cefalexin...for what indication (不過可能有patient confidentiality issues...你亦唔方便問...)

(2)Irregular cycle / menorrhoea (secondary)...

好多好多原因...
-External: stress/anxiety/mood disorder/environmental change...
-Physiological: hyper/hypo-thyroidism, gonadal failure, hypothalamic failure, pituitary failure/pituitary tumor(particularly hyperprolactinaemia), PCOS (early onset)...
-Medication: COCP/hormonal analogue
-Pregnancy (有時患者可能係pregnant + bleeding during pregnancy﹐患者以為bleeding係月經)
-Birth tract obstruction(e.g. cervical fibroid/pelvic mass)
-Malignancy

一定要去婦科醫生度做檢查
