The answer is no. Contrary to the common belief, a first degree in biological science would not help your graduate admission to medicine (except to perhaps better prepare you to sit GAMSAT/MCAT), and may help only very little once got admitted to med school. This is my little advice to you... do what you think you can excel and pump up your GPA... cuz some school won't even look at your application if your GPA falls short from its computer-generated cutoff point. GAMSAT/MCAT: you'll need a good score to be competitive too (some school look only at MCAT + GPA cutoff + interview)...
