I guess cancer is a "multifactorial" disease (with more than 1 causative agent)... it is rather defamatory to say that instant noodles "can cause cancer" but I try to avoid eating them whenever I can. The reason is not the cancer rumor but its content... full of trans-fat, sodium, refined starch... all are very bad to your body. In the long run these can cause high blood pressure, heart and kidney diseases.

If you want to eat noodle, it's good to buy ネ难 and cook it yourself. レ难 too, is bad because it was fried beforehand.
