Plot: The Night Island. Off the coast of Miami. Popular destination for tourists to experience Florida nightlife, delicious cuisine, unimaginable shops, and illegal casinos. Not to mention an ancient crypt that is frequently inhabited by the most ancient and vile of immortal creatures. Unbeknown to most of it's visitors, the island was founded by the vampire Armand in the late 80s after the fall of the vampire mother, Akasha. Fortunately for them, the Children of the Millenia, as these particular creatures of the night fondly refer to themselves, rarely visit the place now. They've all gone their separate ways.

But it's founder still returns on occasion, preferring to spend his time in Paris, and others visit occasionally as well. The vampires dwell all over the globe in large cities, some in covens, some preferring to fly solo. New Orleans, Miami, New York, San Fransisco, Rome, Paris... These are the types of cities they love. The world was peaceful for quite an unusually long time. And then, things started to happen... Young rogues wanted to catch glimpses of the others, the Ancients and their progeny. Friction began to increase... The rogues became desperate for the knowledge of the others, the wisdom and experience. Violence ensued.

The Children of the Millenia haven't seemed to be phased at all by any of this. But the young vampires have grown restless, some have begin to believe that the Ancients don't even exist. And there are other problems as well... There are other creatures of the night, you see. Lycans. Witches. Nephilim.

They all compete for supremacy. Differences can not be ignored or simply set aside any longer. They once ignore each other, not even sure other species existed... But now their numbers have grown and they can't ignore or accept it any longer... As if that weren't enough, there are the Slayers. The ones that want to put an end to everything, once and for all. Sometimes, they can't be avoided...

And of course, there are the poor mortal humans who are blissfully and completely unaware of every single little thing that occurs right before their very eyes. It seems that chaos is finally being unleashed upon the world, without the acknowledgment of that majority which is humans, and bringing all Hell with it... Where are the ancient creatures to restore order? The heat is rapidly increasing and a war is on the verge of breaking out...and it's going to be global.
