 Dorado Weyr - Pern RPG Sixty turns ago, most of the Dragonriders left Pern to end the threat of Thread to Pern forever - and never returned. A new generation of dragonriders grew up without knowing how they had once been respected and without knowing their sacred duty of protecting Pern - and the Holders scorned them and theirs dragons. Twenty turns ago, M'tag led the dragonriders of Pern to take over the South. The North made a weapon to fight against them - they stole a queen egg and gave it to scientists called the Warpers. The Warpers - those who warped genes, including those of humans. Golden Raith Impressed the Altered Zevoa - and here the North's plan went wrong. M'tags bronze Kivarth flew Raith two times - and the second time a plan was made. The dragonriders destroyed the Warpers, and soon the rest of the North was under their rules as well. Present day, M'tag and Zevoa rule at Dorado, Weyr of the elite. Rebellion stirs beneath the calm surface of the Holds. Most of the holders are too scared to even think of rebelling - but that hasn't stopped those that aren't scared from doing one thing sure to send the Weyr into a rage. Weyrsecond K'sal was murdered by the rebels, just as Searchriders went out for Raith's new clutch.
