Welcome to our Holiday Benefit Photo Contest! My youngest daughter (Malia) and her girl scout troop have two Holiday projects they are working on this month.

1. They are each making a Build-a-Bear for a child that will be in the hospital through the Holidays.
2. They are collecting toys for Toys-for-Tots.

Since I know the girls love making the build-a-bears I came up with an idea. Her troop would host a Holiday Benefit Photo Contest and the Grand Supreme winner would get a Custom Made Holiday Build-a-Bear and we would also make another Build-a-Bear and give it to another child at the hospital from the winner, the winner could write a personal message too! We would let the winner know the childs name, age, hobbies, etc. so they could write a letter that went with the bear! Also, if we have any money left over, we would take that money and go buy more toys for our Toys for Tot drive, so we could help both causes! Our girls are trying to collect the most toys, not only to help out the children this holiday season, but the troop that collects the most toys, a local business will match the amount and give the girls a Pizza Party so they really want to win :)

We will have a Natural and Glitz Ultimate Grand Supreme Winner. Each winner will receive a Custom Made Build-a-Bear. (If the winner is older and does not want a Build-a-Bear, we will find a suitable gift for them) We will also have a 0-3, 4-9 and 10+ Natural and Glitz Supreme Winner, they will each win a special Snail Mail Prize.

We have had a couple questions and to answer them. We are accepting donations from anyone to add to our special prize list or if anyone would like to mail us a toy to add to the toys for tots drive we will glady accept it or a donation for $2 to $10 for us to purchase a toy.
