Subject: WOW look at this, before thinking of lying about your dd's ages. One director is fighting back for money and prizes collected. I know we have a couple of questionable ages right here on ohio. c/i

MA won the 9 & up Grand Supreme at CID last November. She competed in the 9-11 year age division, stating that her date of birth was 12-24-98 and that she was almost 10 years old. Now that all of the information on the internet has been brought to our attention, she might have possibly been 13 years of age when she competed in the 9-11 division last year. I have a disclaimer on all of my mini-national forms that states "anyone found to be falsifying age will be disqualified without refund and titles revoked". I feel like have a duty to uphold what I say I will do because I ALWAYS keep my word. Therefore, I sent MA's mother, Sandi, a letter that gave her two options. Option 1: If Mary Ashton Klingler was, in fact, the correct age to compete in the 9-11 year division in November 2008, I will require that you send me a brand new, NEVER OPENED, sealed birth certificate from the State of Alabama so that I have legitimate documentation of her true age. The document must be an original, not a photocopy. This can be accomplished by ordering her birth certificate, and once you receive it DO NOT OPEN IT; put it in a large envelope and mail it to me at the address at the top of this letter. Once I verify her age I will make a photocopy of the birth certificate and mail it back to you. You can order her birth certificate through your local state health department or online at http://ph.state.al.us. If she was the correct age, this should not be a problem. Option 2: If number one is not an option and she competed in the wrong age division, she must forfeit her Christmas In Dixie title immediately. This means that you must ship her monogrammed sash and crown to me, undamaged, and that you also must forward to me the $500.00 she received in the form of money order only. A personal check WILL NOT be accepted as a reasonable form of payment. You will need to keep your money order receipt for your records.

I feel like this was my responsibility as the director of CID to make for certain that she competed "her correct age" at the pageant, seeing as how she walked away with $500 cash. Now, I have went round and round with Sandi Klingler via email, and she has evaded doing option 1 at all costs. She brought up things like identity theft, and even said "why don't you verify everyone's age at your pageants?". I kept telling her that I could not accept a copy of her birth certificate because the one she had sent to Sara was questionable, and she kept telling me that Sara had assured her that it was fine. After receiving an email and a letter from Sara on Friday, Sandi emailed me back stating that she was going to return MA's title by mailing me her crown, sash, and $500 she won. I am giving her until August 16 to mail the items to me. If I do not receive them by that date I am going to file suit in Cullman County and have her birth certificate subpoenaed from the state, at which time her true date of birth will go public. I tried to talk Sandi into sending me an original birth certificate, and she has refused, so YOU be the judge. I know if this was happening to me and Britton I would be doing whatever it took to clear her and my name. Britton has a crappy birthday (12/27/05); not only is it 2 days after Christmas, but she hardly ever makes a fallback because most fallbacks are January 1. She missed the fallback at Little Miss Alabama Beauty by those 4 teeny weeny days and had to move up to the next higher breakdown, and Sara would not budge on allowing her to stay down, so don't ever think that Sara would have allowed MA to compete at CIJ with a questionable birth certificate. I am sure that this is why MA had a sudden cheerleader thing to come up, seeing as how her mother and I were emailing back and forth all weekend long. If anyone has any questions about this matter, feel free to contact me at blonde_sissy@yahoo.com or call (256) 599-8583. As I stated before, I WILL take action against Sandi if she does not send back the items and forfeit her title or either send me an original unopened birth certificate from the state of Alabama. Have a great week everyone!

[> Subject: I just thought about this some more if all the directors go after her that could get expensive. I guess I am just shocked . Why would someone lie in the first place? I don't get it? anyone?
