My name is Sal Martingano. I am 68yrs old, a true first wave baby boomer and Bensonhurst resident until marriage. My ties to the old neighborhood continue in the yearly trips to visit my lifelong friends. Times have really changed things but the memories live forever.

The reason for this email is to as permission to use some of your material from http://www.voy.com/204424/4.html

Not sure if the material is original or reprint but I would like to use some of your material to capture the flavor of Brooklyn and compliment some of the many things written about in the book.

I have written several books and my latest is called “The Boys of Brooklyn….A Time When Life Never Sucked” The book chronical what happened to 5 of us that have stayed together for over 60 years. It is a humorous yet accurate accounting of relationships and events that shaped our lives as first wave boomers. It will be a great read.

Let me know if it is possible.

Thank you,

Sal Martingano
