Subject: Hey again

Hi Guys,

ok, I think we all realise the importance of getting Rotary permittion. I also spoke to my parents, and being the people they are, they've said I can't go if we're not supervised.

Also, don't expect an answer from Ina too soon, in my experience, she takes her time. ;b

Ricardo, only Southies can come on the tour, so I think all of us who are on the waiting list will still be here in August-September.
I know that I only missed 4 days of school if we went in the old time period, buit what about the rest of you? I think we might need to take that into consideration. It might help us with planning if it turns out that it's better for us to go later. Also, some things might be cheaper if we go in Autumn (Fall, Herbst) becasue it's off-peak season....

Also, I think it's definitely 'the more, the merrier'. But we should try to make it so that the majority of us on the tour are Exchangers.

I also know that there is no Rotex in 1930, so you guys will have to ask the rotex's in your districts.

About going to a travel agent... if you go, rather go to get brochures and prospectus'. If we book via a TA then we have top pay a commission fee, and those can be quite hefty if we're a small group.

How many of us are there? I'm guessing it's the 4 of us from here and Nancy from Zim (I'll talk more with her about it in 13 days time if she doesn't respond here...). That's only 5. Which is both a good thing and a bad thing. Good, because it means we'll need less 'waiting' time (which means we'll have more time for shopping, sightseeing, ext.), Bad because it might increase our costs.

Can everyone make it their mission to talk to their councillors and real parents about this in the next couple of days, and then check that you can go.
Rotary assigns everyone a councillor, so try checking with the Youth Exchange Chairman in your district who yours is. And while you're at it, tell him/her that your councilloor sucks! I mean, if they haven't contacted you at all, then they're really not much of a support, are they?

Check ya later!
