I filed a complaint against SU, along with 7 other people. They initially had a rating of F, which was due only to their not having all of their business information updated. I received an e-mail this morning that my complaint was closed. When SU responded to my complaint, I had the option of Accepting or Not Accepting their response. If you Accept it, case-closed; if you don't, you are able to respond to their rebuttal, which I did. Essentially, BBB gets out of it if you are not satified with their response. And this morning, the BBB upgraded SU to an A+ rating! outrageous! Their rating in NO WAY reflects their business/scam practices, only their documentation practices. Do not be fooled by this rating, as they are still scamming people! You will have to pay to be in the magazine, which may take 6 months, you won't get your pictures from the shoot for another 2 - 6 months from that, and you will be flattered and courted to pay for a cover, to pay for more shoots, to pre-order magazines, that, in their discretion, your child may or may not be in! It's a sad day when businesses can get away with taking money for scams such as this. I hope at least one person takes this suggestion to turn away from this magazine and their empty promises.
