well that all depends, how much older was she saying she was? My Katie moved up an age group so that I did not have her in the same age division with her next younger sister (my middle dd has sever middle child sindrome). Some systems let you move up an age group just not fall back and compete in the age group younger than you really are.

In this case...the child said she was "10" and she was in the 7 to 9 age group that had no fall back written in the rules. Mom said she was 9.

I think you should be required to show BC's at all pageants. I really think it would help. My daughter is very big for her age so I carry her BC with me just in case anyone questions her age because of her size.

she said she was 10 and her sister was in 10-12
