(She arched a brow as she watched him.. yeah he was definitely acting strange.. and she found herself wanting to call Shay right then and there and ask her if this sort of behavior was more a guardian's posturing.. or if he was really nervous for a better reason. She thought about it for a moment, then decided to get it in the open.) Is something bothering you? (She asked innocently, tipping her head to look up at him, sitting up a little and crossing her ankles against the counter. Her gaze was a little rebellious and it was apparent she was trying not to smile.) You just look really tense.. is there anything I can do to help? (She let a slow smile spread over her features, still searching his gaze as though she might suddenly find a clue stamped onto his skin about what he was really thinking. She wasn't sure why it was that she felt so excited by the prospect that he might be attracted to her.. though she had a feeling that it might have something to do with the fact that she trusted him. She didn't trust boys like cody.. but Braden.. well, she trusted him and trust was really important to her. That she had grown to care about him since he was there for her in the middle of the night when the tears came and her nightmares woke her up.. and he was the one who held her when she needed support.. yeah, Braden was the sort of man that she could see herself falling for.)
