(She smiled.) Good, cause I am too.. (She murmured, so very comfortable with him. He made her feel so relaxed, contented and safe.. and she appreaciated that so much. Her hand shifted from Semper's back to his arm and she slowly stroked the weather roughened skin there, her eyes softening. She smiled as she thought of Skeeter, the puppies and their outing that day.) Yeah.. we brought them over to Remy and Shay's the day that they came back from the hospital.. we figured Chase needed a dog.. and, well, they ended up keeping two. And then Haylie and Kyrian stopped over.. and they took a puppy as well.. and then Shay suggested I take one for us. We ended up taking four pups back home with us.. and then Courtney stopped by later in the day and took one with her.. so now he just has two. (She shrugged a little.) But we got the best one, right Semper? (She asked, smiling as the long whip-like tail tapped against her leg.) And it definitely wasn't pawning either.. these little guys sell themselves pretty nicely.. you should have seen them all wreaking havoc in the apartment.. (She was smiling reminisingly, her already soft eyes glowing with the memory. She closed her eyes a little as he played with her hair, snuggling into his chest a bit and sighing happily. She couldn't think of a better place to be, and wondered if heaven could possibly be any better than this. Especially when his deep voice rumbled in his chest and all but purred in her ears. She loved that.. loved how strong and masculine he was, how he could kill a man with his bare hands and yet he protected her and pleasured her with those same hands. She made a little sound in her throat in agreement but still tipped her head towards him.) If you are tired, you should get some rest, hon.. we've got plenty of time to catch up.. we can lay in bed all day tomorrow and talk if you'd like.. (She said softly, revealing even more clearly just how much she wanted to protect him, take care of him, be the solace in his life. The last thing she wanted was for him to be awake when he was tired.. he'd worked his ass off for months and needed a break.)
