This has got to be a joke from someone I know, but if it�s not�

First of all I don't think you can say that God's little snowstorm in May is so that there's greener hillsides and pretty flowers. My impression was that God's will was a mystery. On the day it snowed there was an 8-car pile up on I-25 because of the snow, people died. For all you know God made it snow to kill off a few people.

Secondly if I did believe in God I don't think I would look at him as some benevolent lawn care specialist. I have many friends of many religions and the ones I respect the most are those that realize that Gods a bit of an asshole. You don't have to believe that god's this cruel, malicious being (unless you�re all about the old testament), but it's naive to think of him as some sort of sparkly, sunshine god filled with rainbows and lollipops.

If there is a God he is indifferent, he's got a fucking business to run and if the death of a few people is what's required to get that business done then that's what's going to happen. You are not special to God, he doesn�t care if you appreciate his hillsides or not.
