 I have some news..... apparently people can take a horse and change it's color. I didn't know this. What is this a mess up on darwins theory of evolution?

PROBLEM!!!- I bred my horse's Dark Victory and Haziz Kalem. They were both bays. They had a foal. DV's Dark Kal. She was a DARK BAY! Then someone bought her from me.... I won't mention who. Changed her color(LIGHT CHESTNUT) and had her trained in all sorts of things and SHE IS A YEARLING PEOPLE A YEARLING! And she is entered in hunter shows!!!!!! Then I asked the person well you are going to keep the horse for a while right? She says yeah. Then she sells her! So much for keeping a promise...... That forces me to not sell horses by my stallions because some people can't be trusted on this site. I'm sorry it had to come to this. I'm going to make it a case. Kat has had similar problems with one of the horses she has sold too. So this will no doubt become a case.
