Okay, I understand that some of you pick your entries out of a hat, that's fine, this is really to the ones who don't.

If you are judging by picture remember this: each breed has a different standard. Morgans are not supposed to look like Quarter Horses and Quarater Horses are not supposed to look like Thoroughbreds. Halter horses are meant to be big and musculer, in AQHA and APHA and similar breeds, but in some other breeds they are to look more refined.

When you host a show, don't place your horses first in everything unless they really are the best in everything. For instance if I were to hold a hunter/jumper show, I probably wouldn't win very many classes, since I don't have many hunter jumpers. But if i were to hold a cutting/reininng show, I probably would win quite a bit because that's what my horses are bred for.

And if you need help judging a show, I'm usually open to helping you. TS and I help judge each other's shows all the time, don't we TS? *lol*

I could go on and on about this, but I won't.

Lastly, when you breed a new foal, or even with an existing horse, if you have a discipline in mind, let me know and I'll try to help you find good pics. Most of the time I am happy to help. Notice I said help, not do it all for you. Also I know both TS and I can usually look at a picture and give some idea of what the horse is good at.

Also I got some horses for sale! Buy them! lol I am getting ready to update my sales page. http://expage.com/dixiesale
