LIFE IN GENERAL
SEASON TWO
EPISODE ONE: AH HELL
SCENE ONE: Ashe, Richard, Alec, Sam, Ellie, and Elijah are standing in a white cloudy area.
There are gold pillars and a peaceful atmosphere. In front of them is a large pearl desk with a
large chair with its back facing them. They are unable to see who is in the chair
ELIJAH
Where are we?
ELLIE
I think we're in Heaven...
SAM
(Looks at the desk and chair)
Oh my God we're gonna get to me God...I don't believe it
ALEC
How's my hair?
(They watch as the chair slowly turns to reveal Betsy. She is sitting confidently with her legs
crossed, her elbows resting on the arm rest and her finger tips touching each other in front of
her face. She gave them a half smile)
ASHE
Bitchy?!
ALEC
She's God?...Some how this doesn't seem right
ELLIE
Wait a minute...where are we?
BETSY
You've been bad...
(Suddenly the pillars burst into flames. The white, cloudy atmosphere became firey red
surrounded by black rock. Bitchy's desk became charcoal black and her chair matched it. The
group looks at Ashe)
ELLIE
Go ahead, Ashe. You know you want to say it
ASHE
(Smiling proudly)
We're in Hell
SAM
And yet you're smiling
ASHE
I love being right
ELLIE
Wait...where's Richard?
BITCHY
He's not here...
ALEC
What?! We keep each other alive and we end up in hell and he's in heaven...that's balanced
BITCHY
He's of simple mind
SAM
Can't argue with that
ELLIE
And I suppose you're the devil
ASHE
I knew it!!
BITCHY
You have made a living out of torturing each other...this should be easy for you...
ELIJAH
What should?
BITCHY
(Smiles)
You'll see...
(She waves her hand and each of them are separated into their individual Hells.)
SCENE TWO: Heaven. Richard is laying on a beach chair sunning himself.
RICHARD
I feel like I'm forgetting something...(thinks for a moment then shrugs)...it'll come to me
SCENE THREE: Ashe's Hell. Ashe is chained to a metal chair with his eyes forced open.
ASHE
What are you gonna do to me?
BETSY
(Snaps her fingers and a spotlight shines on her)
Enjoy the show, honey
ASHE
Honey?!
BETSY
(Points to the ceiling and the song "Too Sexy" begins to play. Besty begins to do a strip tease
for Ashe, who is forced to watch)
ASHE
No! Stop! For the love of God, stop!!
BETSY
There's where you're wrong, Lover...I'm Satan...no love for God
ASHE
Lover?! Got to get out of here...
BETSY
(Smiles)
That's right
(Blows him a kiss)
I love my job
ASHE
(Begins trying to free himself from the chains)
BETSY
No one can break free from those chains...(Touches Ashe's chest)..I suggest you save your
energy for later
ASHE
(Grinds his teeth and lets our a roar as his arms break free from the chains. He stands up and
glares at Bitchy)
Ashe smash!
BETSY
Well that's new
(Ashe tears the head set off and stands up glaring at Betsy)
I'll swallow your- (Ashe grabs her and chokes her) -bahkghachl..
ASHE
Swallow this...(When he lets go of Betsy she falls to the ground)...Well, I'd love to stay...but I
WON'T!
BETSY
Because of this insult you shall be eternally damned
ASHE
Yeah, yeah...take a number (Bitchy makes a motion to Ashe and a mark is burned into his
right arm. He grabs his arm in pain)
OW! Damnit! (Looks at the demon scratch which looks like a tattoo) What the hell?!
SCENE FOUR: Ashe is wandering the halls.
ASHE
Ok...need to find the others...(Looks around)...Where the hell am I
ELIJAH
Interesting choice of words
(Ashe jumped and turned to see Elijah standing behind him)
ASHE
Where did you come from?
ELIJAH
(Points down the hall)
That way...how did you escape?
ASHE
I could ask you the same thing
ELIJAH
We need to find the others
ASHE
No, I need to find the others...you can stay here
ELIJAH
What did I do to make you hate me so much? Its like you're mad at me for taking your
girlfriend or something...you and Ellie aren't together are you?
ASHE
(Thinks for a moment)
...In a way....
ELIJAH
What do you mean?
ASHE
Nevermind...we're not together
ELIJAH
Then where does this hatred for me come from?
BITCHY
Oh, AAAAaaaaassshhhheeee...
ASHE
Gotta go
(They run in opposite directions. Their halls wind up connecting and they crash into each
other)
Why don't you watch where you're going!
ELIJAH
Me?!
(A scream is heard from down the hall)
Ellie!
ASHE
(Points)
That way!
(They ran to the door that Ellie's screams are coming from. Elijah looked through a small
window on the door)
ELIJAH
Oh my God...
ASHE
What?
ELIJAH
Have you ever wanted to know what Ellie's hell would be?
(Elijah looked Ashe in the eye)
To be burned at the steak at the hand of her friends...
(Elijah glared at Ashe for a moment then looked at the door)
There's no handle...how do we get in?
ASHE
Watch and learn...(He backed up, then ran, slamming into the door at full force. The door
didn't budge. Ashe winced and fell slightly)
Ouch...
ELIJAH
Ok, what was I supposed to learn from that?
ASHE
(Glares at Elijah)
What was your hell?
ELIJAH
I prefer not to tell you...
ASHE
Why?
ELIJAH
You may use it against me some day...
ASHE
(Nods)
Smart...
(Ashe returns his attention to Ellie)
Can she hear us from in there?
ELIJAH
I don't know...
(They begin to bang on the door, yelling to Ellie)
ASHE
Why would she be burned in Hell? We're already dead
ELIJAH
You'd be surprised how long you can feel the burns until you finally pass out from the smoke
ASHE
(Gives Elijah a vacant stare)
How many woman did you watch die?
ELIJAH
Too many...
(Looks at the door)
If we both ram into this door, we may be able to knock it down...
ASHE
It's worth a shot
(They both step back and ram into the door. It moves a little. They try again and break it
down. Ellie is no longer tied to a steak. She is laying in the middle of the room. There are
black marks from the smoke on her body, but no burns. The entire room is on fire.)
ELIJAH
Why isn't she burned?
ASHE
(Looks at a figure of himself, Alec, Sam, Richard, and Elijah standing in a corner. They
disappeared when Ashe looked at them)
Because it wasn't real
(They both tried to wake Ellie up by gently nudging her and calling her name. She woke up
and saw Elijah and Ashe above her. Unaware of what was happening, she sat up quickly and
backed away from them and curled in a ball against the wall)
ELLIE
Get away from me...
ASHE
Ellie, it's me, Ashe
ELIJAH
What's wrong with her?
ASHE
She doesn't know it was an illusion
ELIJAH
Ellie, we're not going to hurt you...
(He reaches his hand to her)
It's ok...
ASHE
(Starts to move a little closer. Ellie tries to back away, but only braces against the wall more)
Ellie, what you saw wasn't real. It was an illusion
ELIJAH
Yeah...look at your arms and legs...you haven't been burned
(Ellie looks at her arms and legs then back at Ashe and Elijah)
ASHE
Ellie, we would never hurt you. I'm going to get us home...I promise
ELLIE
(Ellie looks at the both of them and starts to ease forward)
ELIJAH
We're going to get out of here...come on
(Ellie took Elijah's hand and he pulled her close and held her; whispering to her)
It'll be ok
(Elijah looked at Ashe who was watching them feeling like a third wheel)
ASHE
Come on, lets find the others
(Elijah nodded and helped Ellie to her feet)
ELLIE
So, it wasn't real?
ASHE
What?
ELLIE
What I saw...what happened...
ASHE
(Watches her curiously)
What happened?
ELLIE
(She looked at Ashe)
You said that I shouldn't have taken advantage of your trust...and you convinced the others to
believe you...(She looked at Elijah)...and you convinced the rest that I would turn on all of you
and use the Necromonicon to my advantage...so then all of you agreed that I should die for it...
ELIJAH
I would never do that...
ASHE
It wasn't real...what would I do with out you, Ellie. (Gives her a hug) You keep the others
from pushing me over the edge
ELLIE
True...
ELIJAH
We should start looking for the others...
(They nod and start to leave)
ASHE
So...us turning on you was your hell?
ELLIE
Where would I be without you guys?
ASHE
At home...in a safe, warm bed...ALIVE!
ELLIE
...Going through life like everyone else...think about it, Ashe...for us, every day is a new
adventure
ASHE
Being Satan Bitchy's love slave is not my idea of an adventure...
ELLIE
(Smiles)
You were Bitchy's love slave?
ASHE
It's not funny
ELLIE
Not for you...So did you see her naked?
ASHE
I saw enough...
(Alec is heard from down the hall)
ALEC
NO!! It can't be true!
ASHE
Let me guess...a world without hair supplies
(The run down the hall and look in the door to Alec's cell)
ELLIE
What do you see?
ELIJAH
Just a lot of people in suits talking to him...not much of a Hell
ASHE
Let me see...(Ashe smiles and starts laughing)
HA!
ELLIE
What? What is it?
ASHE
He's been fired...
ELLIE
Is that all?
ELIJAH
I say again...not much of a Hell
ASHE
...and...Sam is dating Tom Welling...I don't see what that has to do with anything though
(Looks at Ellie)
ELLIE
Don't look at me...I don't understand him anymore than you do
ELIJAH
Well, we'd better get him out of there...
ASHE
Should we slam the door down again?
ELIJAH
Is there any other way?
(They both back up and run toward the door to ram it open again)
ELLIE
You boys and your violence...(She motions to the door and uses her magic to open it just
before Ashe and Elijah would have rammed into it. They fell through the open door and
tumbled down the stares. Ashe hit the ground first, smacking his head on the ground. He
moaned and looked up the steps to see Elijah about to fall on him. His eyes widened as Elijah
fell on him before he could react.)
ELIJAH
(Takes a breath. To Ashe in a cocky tone)
Thank you...you broke my fall perfectly
ASHE
Shutup! Get off me!!
(Ellie casually walked down the stairs as Elijah and Ashe got to their feet)
Ellie, why didn't you tell us you could do that?
ELLIE
You didn't ask me
ELIJAH
(Looks at Ashe)
Women
ASHE
Tell me about it
ELLIE
(Walks over to Alec)
Alec...
ALEC
Gone...it's all gone...
ELLIE
No it's not...
ALEC
Yes it is...I was just fired! And Sam left me for that pansy Tom Welling...
ELLIE
It wasn't real...
ALEC
What are you talking about?
ELLIE
Betsy took your idea of Hell and manifested it into a reality...but its not real...we're dead,
remember
ALEC
(Looks at Ashe and Elijah who are standing behind Ellie)
Are you sure?
ELIJAH

(Alec and Ellie start to leave. Elijah and Ashe wait for a while)
ELLIE
What are you guys waiting for? Lets find Sam
ASHE
Right...I just thought we'd wait for her to scream first...That's how Elijah and I found you and
Alec...we just followed your screams
ELLIE
I don't think Sam is the screaming type...
ALEC
No...definitely not a screamer
(Ashe stares at him for a moment and Ellie shakes her head trying to get the thought out of her
head)
ELIJAH
Lets just go...
(The walk down the hall when they see Betsy approaching from the opposite end of the hall)
BETSY
Oh Ashe....I'm not finished with you yet....
(Ashe hid behind Ellie)
ASHE
Ellie quick...open one of these doors and get me away from her!
(Ellie opens the nearest door and they all run into the room)
Let me in! Let me in!
(Ashe turns around and sees a large screen. He screamed when he saw Richard's bare butt on
it)
DAH!!! Let me out! Let me out!
(The others turn around and they all jump and cover they're eyes)
ELLIE
Naked Richard! My eyes! My eyes!
ALEC
What the hell is that?!
ELIJAH
I think it's Sam's hell...
ASHE
So that's what happened in Vegas
ALEC
Sam's hell is to have to watch a video...man, she lucked out...
ASHE
Like hell she did! I think she got the worst one of all of us...
BETSY
(From outside)
Oh Ashey...
ASHE
(Eyes widen)
I was wrong...
ALEC
Were you her love slave, or something?
ASHE
(Glares at Alec)
ALEC
Sucks to be you
ELLIE
Well, somebody should go over and free Sam...
ASHE
Right...go ahead, Alec
ALEC
Go ahead Ellie...
ELLIE
Go for it, Ashe...
ASHE
Go on Elijah
ELIJAH
Go ahead Ellie
ELLIE
We aren't getting anywhere...Maybe we should all go...
ASHE
OK....(The all begin to walk in Sam's direction with their eyes closed. They constantly bump
into things, or themselves)
ELLIE
(Feels someone grabbing here breasts)
Hey! Ashe, watch your hands!
ASHE
It wasn't me
ALEC
(Devilishly)
Heh heh heh
(When they reach Sam, they put their backs to the screen. Sam is chained to a chair with her
eyes forced open)
SAM
Kill me...
ASHE
It's too late for that Bitch Monster...you're already dead...
SAM
And yet you're still here....I definitely am in hell
ASHE
Hey! I am rescuing you...the least you could do is not insult me...
SAM
Sorry...I was going into withdraw
ASHE
From what?
SAM
Not insulting you and having to endure the smut of that ...that....video
(They free Sam)
ASHE
Whatever...lets find a way out of here...
ELIJAH
I don't mean to state the obvious...but we ARE in hell...there is no way out...
ASHE
There has to be a way out...
BETSY
There is no way out!
(The walls burst into flames and the room changes. The group finds themselves trapped cages
hanging above the ground. Ellie and Elijah are in one, Sam and Alec in another and Ashe is
in a cage by himself.)
ALEC
Hmmm...We're elevated...(Smiles at Sam)...You thinking what I'm thinking?
SAM
(Glares at him)
You're sick
ALEC
...and creative...you know you like it
SAM
(She ties not to smile as she looks up and turns her back to him. Elijah holds Ellie close.
Ashe looks around fearfully)
ASHE
Why am I in a cage by myself?
BETSY
I haven't had my way with you yet...
ASHE
(Shudders and quickly takes his belt off)
SAM
What are you doing? Preparing for her?
ASHE
(He glares at Sam and ties the belt around his neck in an attempt to strangle himself)
ELLIE
Ashe, you're already dead...that's not going to work...
ASHE
Damn!
BETSY
Well well...You gave me one less thing to remove...
ASHE
Please, God, no!
(Suddenly a beam of light made a hole in the ceiling and it shined on Betsy. A deep voice
came from it)
GOD
(Naggingly)
Bitchy...
BETSY
God, we've been through this...call me Satan
GOD
How many times must I tell you to stop taking my pupils
BETSY
Sorry God...
GOD
(To the group)
You kids aren't supposed to be here yet...
ELLIE
Yet?!
GOD
Oh...you know what I mean
ASHE
No...we don't
GOD
Look, do you want me to help you or not
ASHE
Absolutely!
(God shines the light over Ashe, Elijah, Ellie, Sam, and Alec and takes them to heaven)
SCENE FOUR: Heaven...again. The group is reunited with Richard
RICHARD
I told God that I was lonely...so he rescued you
ASHE
Good thing....any later and I would have been majorly violated
ELLIE
So what happens now?
GOD
You kids were not supposed to die yet...you have been jumping throughout time...
ALEC
Yeah, we know
GOD
Great entertainment for us...
ELLIE
Wait...you watch us like television?
ELIJAH
What's a television?
GOD
Please...television isn't real. You kids are...it's great. My son and I watch you every week
ASHE
Great...we're a joke in Heaven
ELLIE
We were a joke in life too
SAM
Speak for yourself...
ELLIE
(looks at Sam)
You're in there too...(nods to Alec)...or do I need to clarify it for you?
SAM
No, no...I get it
GOD
Which is why I'm sending you back...however, the next time you die...it will be permanent
ELIJAH

ALEC
What time are you sending us to?
ASHE

GOD
Go forth...and Peace be with you in your quest...
ELLIE

(One by one he sends them back. Ashe is last)

Uh, God...about this demon scratch Bitchy gave me...

Yeah...is there anyway to...you know...undo it? I mean she said I'd be eternally damned...more
so than normal, anyway...

Well, I suppose there is something I could do to help...
ASHE

You brought this on yourself when you insulted her..I can't remove it...but I can do something
to help (Ashe bends forward in pain as a cross with wings is burned into his back just below
his neck)
