we first hear his name from Nostredomus in France in the tent when Nicholas is being delayed so he can be caught by Louis men. The name means nothing to him at the time though when he hears it he feels a deep sorrow which he doesn't even understand himself. Later when he finds that Robin is marrying Kathi- Nicholas thinks "I wonder how Nostredamus knew."
