Oh how easy it was to navigate through the millions of undergrowth, she could do it with her eyes closed. And yet so many get lost, then dwell on forever more, even after they have perished. Amelie soundlessly made her way up to a large boulder, and lay down behind it in the shadows. All light had died out, and the forest was in darkness. Good. That's how she wanted it. So she could mourn in peace. The fatale lay her head on her paws, thoughts of everything and everyone swhirling in her mind out of control. The original shadowolves were dead, and now they were replaced by a swarm of inferior mortals who couldn't tell one demon from another. Except for a few, that is. The shadowolves were once a massive pack who could rule over the whole of AM, and now there were but five. So her memories rambled on while she lay in the dark. Amelie longed for the taste of blood.
