It just seems easier to add, "Yep" to somebody else's words than to say anything else.
I heard "Rosalie" on "The Midnight Special" and fell in love with the song. Entering college and millions of changes in my life put it on a back burner, but over the next few years I acquired some Sam Neely records. I moved the music to cassette and wore out the tapes.
Then the age of CDs was upon us. I'm not sure if it was Capitol Records or somewhere else that I e-mailed, inquiring about the availability of "Sam Neely 2" on CD. Imagine my surprise to get a message from the artist himself that the albums were not available, but that efforts were underway to change that.

So I knew Sam was out there, and bought a couple of his CDs, hoping "Rosalie" would join the re-mastered and re-released material, and checking with Taliesyn every few months when the thought occurred to me.
Today I had some cash to spend and I checked to see that the album is now available.

And I see that we lost Sam only a few weeks ago. I feel like I've been kicked in the gut, but my heart goes out to the friends and family who lived and loved with him. May you find peace in the weeks and years to come.
