Subject: part of my childhood

Growing up, Sam Neely was always playing on our stereo. My mother in particular played him over and over again--she loved his voice. The songs are ingrained as part of me. That was 30 years ago.

I emailed Sam a couple years ago and told him all this, got a very nice email back, and asking me to tell my mother hello.
