Subject: There will never be another Sam Neely

I was in shock when I went into Sam's web site and found that he is no longer with us. I had never met Sam personally but through our emails, I felt his close friendship. My first contact with him was when I was looking for a copy of his album "Sam Neely 2" as I had somehow years ago lost the original which I had obtained back in the '70's. This album was in the process of being reissued to cd format but was not yet available so he was kind enough to burn this album off his computer on to a cd and mailed it to me. I don't think there are too many singers out there who would do this for a fan. Sam called me his "Canadian friend". I will never forget him. He was a great guy. My condolences go out to his family and friends.
