This board was a reaction to censorship. But not only from the invaders who came to "take Newburgh by whatever means necessary" but when our own council tried to silence us.

A lot of self appointed important people resented this board and tried to shut it down by posting the same crap they got Mr. Fred in trouble with. When that didn't work they attacked the guy who started this board too. But the board is still here. I'm sure that makes a lot of people mad. But it's not censored, only monitored by fairness.

Really great ideas have been posted here not just the mud. Great solutions to some of our troubles too. I appreciate the news that showslup here from time to time. I just wish more people would come. I think this board has proven itself over the years and I hope it stays around a long time. It's really about time we had a place to speak up without worrying about getting rocks thrown st us or our homes.

By the way I sent comments to the admin and they're really very nice. I encourage everybody to send an email. I used the contact link.
