Subject: Overdue Thanks

I was going to send this direct to the admin by the contact link but I decided to risk posting it for all to read.

I want to say that I'm thankful for this board. Such winderful people who I believe are my neighbors. I don't get around easily and when I can get to here it's like seeing good friends. So many good ideas are brought up here and beautiful memories. The nasty wars and mud slingers were cleaned up and the folks that stick with it are wonderful. It shows that even when we who care get angry or sad there are people we can turn to for encouragement and support.

I do what I can to keep my little piece of my life long home as good as it was. I'm the old Newburgh that took that kind of care of my hometown. It's sometimes discouraging when some of the new folks look down their noses at me. But I don't care. They missed some of the happiest days in Newburgh and I remember those days. They'll never know them. I expect some of those people are the other boards. But it doesn't matter. This is my home and this board is where I keep in touch with my good neighbors.

Thank you for bringing it to me and to my Newburghers for their participating. We really do care.
