Soon they'll just give NCAC another tax free place, the Council will secretly pass a resolution to raise taxes on the rest of us or surcharge for some city service we haven't seen in 50 years, they'll get more money that'll go to some waterfront bar n grill, somebody's old wall will get painted, new flowers will appear all over town, more gangs will move in, some kid will shoot another kid, people will blame the police and we'll all meet down by the riverside for a celebration of a date that only about 2% of Newburgh's population knows anything about. Heart Newburgh where life and time stand completely still.
