If there were no others around who could translate it might go without saying that there were no others who spoke Spanish. Take this into consideration and it certainly gives Zapata the perfect opportunity to give Snra. Espinoza a few key suggestions including one that would prompt her to play the No Speak English drama. She very well could have been coaxed to use the claim while understanding more than enough English. Take this into consideration and the whole thing seems thrown. It becomes a miscarriage of justice. But that's just common around here.

Yes it would be interesting to see the results if the case went out of the area.

I wonder what revolving door bleeding heart psychobabble judge will preside over the big show.

Hopefully the admin here will keep this thread alive. I'd like to go on record having said that this 13 yr. old will either go scot free or receive nothing much more than a judicial scolding.
