From the desk of Tony & Jessica Rush

Dear Friend,

I get a lot of people who ask, "Hey, Tony, what does your day look like when you're earning a large income from home?"

I guess a lot of people assume that I'm on the phone all day.
Or that my wife and kids never see me.
Or that I'm constantly chained to my desk.
Or that I'm a complete obsessive/compulsive money chaser.

Nah. None of those really describe my life.

But, if you're curious, here's what my day usually looks like between Monday-Thursday:

space

Wake up and spend a few minutes quietly focusing on my goals. I didn't always do this. I used to jump up and get into my day. But, I've discovered that a few minutes in the morning of quiet time makes a great difference. It can be a prayer of thanks. A reflection on the things your grateful for. A reminder of what your life goals are. Anything. But it works.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hang out and have breakfast with Jessica and my two sons. This is one of my favorite parts of the day. While the rest of America is hurtling down the highway in a mad rush to get to a job, I'm usually cooking omelets with Jessica and watching the boys play at the kitchen table.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After breakfast, I stroll into my home office, reply to some emails and make out my "to-do" list for the day.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Listen to a 15 minute daily "Get Started" call. This is powerful. There's nothing in the world like getting together with other big-thinkers for a brief conversation in the morning.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Log in to my online business center to see who has requested information on our business. I love that we have a system that's at my fingertips whether I'm in my home office or sitting on the balcony of a hotel. Everything I need is in one place.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Make some return phone calls for about an hour. This is ridiculously simple. Each of these calls only lasts 3-5 minutes because I'm not calling to "pitch" them or to convince them that they need to be doing what I'm doing. I'm calling to introduce myself, see what they're looking to accomplish in a home business and see if they're serious enough to qualify for the information I've got.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Go to lunch with Jessica and the boys! Jessica and I both enjoy cooking but we almost always go out to eat for lunch. Neither of us usually wants to stop our morning to cook....so we take the boys to our favorite restaurants or deli.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After lunch, we run a few errands or do some shopping. We might go by the bank, stop at a bookstore or whatever.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Get home and return phone calls for a couple of hours. Again, these are people who are asking us to contact them about our business. I'll probably set about 8 appointments for serious people to attend a live business overview call later in the evening.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Enjoy the family by going out for the evening or hanging in, what ever! I'm done. At this point, I've "worked" for about three or four hours. It's time to fire up the grill, start dinner, maybe invite some friends over, go to a movie, whatever.

And that's really my day. At least from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, we usually close up shop by lunch time and spend the weekend playing, shopping, traveling, or whatever.

And do you want to hear the best part?

There's absolutely nothing on that list that I can't also do from anywhere in the world!

In fact, I've made more money sitting on hotel room balconies and returning calls from a beach house than I ever have sitting in my home office.

And why not? The business is totally portable: if you've got a cell phone and a laptop, there's no reason why you can't just spend your "work days" anywhere in the world you choose.

For instance, at the time of this writing, we just got back from a weekend in Atlanta. We stayed at the Marquis, met some friends for dinner and then spent the day on Saturday doing some shopping for an upcoming trip to Cancun.

And that's what my life looks like: a life without limits...

In fact, watch this video to see what our lifestyle looks like in living color...
