During surgery, the doctors found that they could not remove the tumor. It is larger than they thought and is on her liver. They will try to shrink the tumor with chemo and try to remove it later. Her diagnosis is not a Wilm's Tumor, as first suspected, but after a biopsy, it has been diagnosed as neuro-blastoma. The doctors will do a bone marrow test on Friday to see if the cancer cells are any where else.
Kennedie was "all set" to attend Nationals but is now unable to come. She is still sending her "goody bag" souvenirs for all of the girls.
Please keep the prayers coming for this precious child and her family.

I would like to ask all of our IM family to please pray for 23 month old Kennedie Boudreaux, Louisiana Baby Miss Princess. They flew her to Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans because they discovered that she had a very fast growing Wilm's Tumor on her kidney. Kennedie is having surgery tomorrow to remove the tumor and a kidney to hopefully get all of the cancer cells. If they don't remove it quickly, the cancer cells will begin to get in her blood stream. She will be taking chemo for the next six months.
We all know that prayers work miracles. So please send up your prayers for Kennedie and her family

Please keep the Williams family in your prayers. Lacy Williams was our 2004 Young Miss. Lacy and her two sisters Carrie and Haley were in an automobile accident today and Carrie was killed. My heart is broken, we have watched these girl grow up, please remember them. Carrie was 14 and a IM participant through out the years.

I just wanted to say Congradulations to Haily Guajardo on being newly crowned MS Teen Miss. I think we are still in shock. We never expected her to win her first year in teen. I can now proudly say that my daughter is a triple crown winner. And worked very hard for it. It was a very tough competition. All of the girls were really great and she really made some good friends. Thanks to erica Owens for the pictures. Every one that needs pictures for Nationals, You know where to go. It is proof that her photos are award winning. Thanks to Courtney for the help with the music. Thanks to my mom Dianna clark without her sewing I don't know what we would ever do.
Miss Joann Ryder was in our in hearts and thoughts the whole time. I will never forget the first time Haily borrowed Whitney's dress and one sleve was smaller than the other because she didn't sew off of a pattern. Haily was only about 9 and her little are was so sore by finals but Miss Joann kept telling her, " Haily you got to suffer to be beautiful". So to this day when she complains I remind her of that. She was a very special Lady and I know she would be very proud of every one that night. We talked to Whitney before we even left the parking lot that night and she was so excited for Haily and can't wait to compete again. I have promised myself that in miss Joann's honor, I would do everything in my power to help Whitney be apart of IM this year and Compete at State next year. I know thats what her grandmother would have wanted. The lord only knos how much she has done for us and I'm sure alot of other people. So Haily and I want to dedicate this year to her.
We look forward to seing everyone at Nationals and to our new sisters. Welcome to the Family.
