我是贊同中央對天安門事件清場，
雖然不贊同以軍隊清場，
但以當時情況，不得不用軍隊清場。
天安門事件與七一遊行性質不同，
首先，天安門事件中群眾不受控制，
警方幾次嘗試清場不果，且遭到群眾反抗，
而七一遊行是在有秩序的情況下進行，
且示威者是服從警方指示。
所以，不能夠將兩事雙提並論。

還有，當時中央政府是有難處的，
雖然是所謂「一黨專制」，
但是黨內派系複習，
當時黨內就出現「反資產階級自由化」的鬥爭，
（現在也出現應否推行民主社會主義的爭論）
如果當時處理事件失當，便成為保守左派的話柄，
鄧小平可能會失去權力。
若由左王鄧力群出任黨書記，
重推毛澤東路線，
再有多一個「十年浩劫」的話，中國可受得起？
這後果是不堪設想的。

當然，天安門事件的清場，
令貧富懸殊、通漲、貪污腐敗、官倒等問題不能即時解決。
但是近年胡、溫執政，開始改善民生問題，
例如減免農稅，低收入人士免學費兼免書簿雜費，
改善通漲問題則用宏觀調控方法，
並建廉租屋、經濟適用房以遏仰樓價。
特別是胡主席，在取代江澤民主席正式成為軍委主席，
政權穩定後，
即大規模進行反貪活動，
派中紀委查察各地官員，
將貪官繩之於法，
著名的「陳良宇」案就是其一例子，
更多返貪運動相信會陸續進行。
