看來同學們只懂說「反」，卻忽略了支持這個「反」字的真正理由，只會說一大堆無理的說話，而忽略了理性、客觀和開放的態度，這不是表達意見，只是人身攻擊。我重覆一遍，找一個肯承擔、肯負責的校長已很難，找一個在濟記有多年教學經驗，而且熟識母校的行政、結構方面的人就更難，而我想只有細袁是最佳人選。

老實說，我是文科人，從未被細袁教過，但他給我的印像很簡單，就是處事「快夾妥」，而且精明能幹。為何我會這樣說呢？我是保皇黨？非也。話說在兩年前，我在中六開學不久的時候，覺得Maths & Stat這高補程度的科目不太適合自己，要求"drop"科，所以尋求細袁sir的批準。那時他連我是誰也不知，卻耐心地對我說出"drop"這科的後果和影響，又問及我為何想放棄讀這科等等關顧的說話（我想他已忘記），但我的印象卻頗深刻。

後來的事不用多提，我只想帶出的是，他對一個陌生的學生也能夠循循善誘，更何況是對著這個擁有一千二百多個學生的大家庭？身為一個剛畢業的濟記學生，我想看到的很簡單，就是，新校長能否帶領濟記走出現時不論校譽和成績皆每況愈下的困境。同學們在說「反」之前，請仔細想想，細袁做的是「載舟」還是「覆舟」。我相信的是，他做的只為濟記的將來和學生著想。

開學只有約半個月，請同學們用功讀書，做好自己學生的本份就已經足夠（當然包括校內和校外吧！），而且學校行的新政，不是一時三刻就能看到應有成效的。我相信「路遙知馬力，日久見人心」，同學們，大家一齊努力，做點有建設性的事吧！
