曾拜讀過你之前講「民主」的一篇文章，認為香港人不宜行民主，當天閱讀，有點不得奇解，因為我們不是經常說「香港人質素高，所以應該有民主」嗎？原來，這是我們一廂情願的想法，我們所相識的朋友、伙伴之中，九成九是高學歷的，所以活在一班相對質素高的朋輩之中，也令人感受到香港人是高質素，然而，當年落區採訪得多、做街頭報導做得多、你會客觀地發現，香港人大多質素奇差，不只是外表、談吐，而是對問題的分析方法、思辯能力。怪不得民建聯每次選舉均有不俗的票數。
