Subject: Betsy Sullivan wins the Fleadh Cheoil AGAIN!!!!

Hi, all,
M.I.A. FSID dancer Betsy Sullivan went under cover a few months ago to prepare for the North American/Mid Atlantic Regional Fleadh Cheoil Traditional Irish music competitions. 15 year old Betsy was required to move up to the u18 competitions this year and she was a bit nervous about her chances to repeat her solo championship...well, FSID will be WELL represented at the Fleadh Cheoil naEireann for a second consecutive year....
BETSY WON THE U18 SOLO CHAMPIONSHIP ON THE FIDDLE AND PLACED 2ND IN THE U18 SLOW AIRS CHAMPIONSHIP on the Fiddle ; )
Betsy will be representing the Sean O'Riada CCE branch of Albany, NY and the Hanafin-Cooley Branch in Boston, MA at the 'All-Irelands' in Tullamore, Co. Offaly, Ireland. Betsy will be leaving in early August to head to festivals in Co. Clare, playing with her friends from Offaly in the Mol en Oige Ceili Band, attend Scoil Eigse in Tullamore and then onto the BIG DANCE in Tullamore.....
Stay tuned....sorry, Mike...Betsy won't be able to play for your feis again this year...hope you understand :(
