I would like to start by saying thank you for being brave enough to give an opinion and advice on such a controversial and hostile issue. Abortion, especially here in the United States, is one of the most fiercely debated topics. The truth is that many choose not to give an opinion on it so that they don’t have to enter this great debate, but what we need is to really talk about it. I am really happy that you stated you think people should take responsibility for their actions. The fact of the matter is this: abortion is not and should not be used as a method of contraception. Condoms, sponges, pills, and diaphragms are contraceptives, not abortion. There are many opinions on this case but the fact of the matter is that we need not fear this great debate. Rather we should educate people on the consequences of their choices so that when two consenting, financially established adults decide to bring a child into this world they are ready to take full responsibility for that life and give it every opportunity so that they may succeed in life.
