Virginity is not a question of male or female, but is the quality or state of being a virgin—one who has abstained from sexual intercourse. Nowadays sexual intercourse is a vague concept among teens. Some people would consider sexual intercourse any kind of heavy petting, or the touching of sexual organs. However, the original definition of sexual intercourse involves penetration of the vagina by the penis. So, if you have not participated in any of these activities, it’s safe to say that you have not lost your “male virginity.” However, that all depends on your take on things. To be a virgin is nothing to be ashamed of; the decision to have sex is not an easy one. Don’t ever be pressured into losing your virginity, because with it comes many risks (i.e. STDs, pregnancy).
