Subject: disorders

I am going to address the issue of personal acceptance and eating disorders. A lot of people struggle with both of these topics. They feel like they are fat and/or ugly and it lowers their self confidence, sometimes, to the point of anorexia or bulimia. These disorders do not help, in fact, they have been known to bring on depression and cause more problems.
I am not going to give statistics or try to scare the people affected by these disorders, because it will not help. Speaking from experience, they know the risks, and the positives happen to outweigh those negatives.
Recovery is not easy, but the first step is wanting to feel better. You have to remember the time when you were happy with yourself, if you ever were, and try to recreate it. You might even have to fake being happy. In time your happiness will become a reality;that is just my reasoning, I can not garuntee it. You also need help from either your friends or family. You can not be afraid to express yourself, because keeping things bottled up will only increase bad feelings.
At times you will probably still feel bad about yourself, everyone has those days. However, you need to work through those. It is a day to day challenge but in time things slowly get better. I wish I could help you more, but I can not. You just need the strength to keep going and to want to recover. Advice from others does not work, you need to find your own way to recovery.
