I have followed the JonBenet case very closely-though not as closely as some!
And I have to admit that up until very recently I too believed the parents did it or at least knew more than they were saying.
Part of me deep down inside still thinks they know something. But then again why would a parent know something about their angel and not say anything.
In the beginning it was easy to blame the parents. It seemed so obvious-and honestly seemed like the only thing that made sense.
However as more evidence was released it stopped making sense. Looking at the crime scene photos etc I just can not even imagine how someone could do it...especially a parent.
In my line of work I am forced to realize that parents are capable of some of the most cruel things imaginable and do them daily to their children. However it is just almost impossible to imagine a parent doing these things.
You mentioned that a six year old does not have that many contacts. Which you are correct-in most cases a parent knows who their child associates with. But there are people out there who cross my daughters path who I do not know. We just recently had an experience where someone I did not know was watching us. They saw us in our daily activities, learned our routines and watched us daily. Their motives I do not know and honestly do not want to know! I also have first hand experience knowing that someone in another state can find you even when you think they can not!
Some people are crazy enough to do things that you would never even think about doing.
I hope that some day this case is solved. And my prayers are with this little angel that some day she can rest in peace.
All I know is I do not have the answers
