Hi I am a new director for American Royal Miss. But not new to the world of pageantry. My sister started at at 15 while she was living with me and we enjoyed many many wonderful weekends and weeks as she competed and later traveled to represent her many local, state and national titles. Later I got the bug as many would call it and decided to direct and promote for others as well. Now I am a mom of two, ages 5 and 7 and enjoy taking my girls to pageants as well. While they are novices. We have lots of fun and to me that is the best part of pageants, the mother/daughter experience. The trips, the travel, the educational opportunities at every turn. Now I am directing for American Royal Miss and with a lady I have know for over 10 years, Ms. Donna Price Williams. She started American Royal Miss for the same reasons many do, to share what she and her daughter Scarlette had shared for many years together in the spendlor and gradeau of pageantry.
American Royal Miss is a natural pageant. No we dont' come on stage in blue jeans, but we pride ourselves on letting the contestants be their true selves. Now I want to share these experiences with you and your daughter. We have age groups from babies to married women 29 and up. Talent plays a huge part in our main titles, but it is not the only thing.
