A complete pageant scheduled will be emailed out to all registered contestants the first week in November!

Requirements


You must compete based on your age as of January 1st, 2012.
If you live in Alabama, Florida, Illinois, Georgia, South Carolina, Massachusetts, Louisiana or Mississippi you must first compete in your State Pageant before you are eligible to register for Nationals. Contact your State Director for more information.
Entry fee

Our 2012 National Pageant entry fee is $495.00 but each year we run a sign up special for $195.00. This entry fee covers required areas of competition which are Self Introduction, Formalwear and one photogenic entry. It also covers your optional Community Service category. We will honor this special for the first 25 contestants that register. We will not be running this special again after these spots are gone.

Baby Miss (Ages 0-23 months)
Tiny Miss (Ages 2-4 years)
Little Miss (Ages 5-7)
Petite Miss (Ages 8-10)
Junior Miss (Ages 11-13)

Miss (Ages 17-23)
Ms (ages 24 and up)
Areas of Competition

Required:

Self Introduction - Self introduction is done in your Miss Heart of the USA T-Shirt and black shorts, capris, or pants. Baby Miss and Tiny Miss divisions will not do a self introduction. They will instead model in their Miss Heart of America T-Shirt, black shorts, black skirt, capris or pants.

Formalwear - Baby Miss and Tiny Miss Divisions can wear Pageant Dress, Heirloom or Sunday Best. Little Miss - Mrs Divisions will need a pageant dress. You will have the choice of a short of long pageant gown.

Optional: *YOU MUST COMPETE IN ATLEAST ONE OPTIONAL TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR SUPREME!*


Photogenic - Photos can be of any size and do not have to be professionally done. This can be a headshot or full body shot. Photos are scored on personality projection, clarity and overall photogenic qualities. PHOTOS ARE TO BE TURNED IN AT CHECK IN THE DAY OF THE PAGEANT! DO NOT MAIL PHOTOS! 1 photo is included in your basic entry fee. You can include up to 5 additional photos at an additional charge of $15.00 per photo. The one photo with the highest score will then be used towards your photogenic score. All photos submitted must have the contestants name and age division on the back. Photos that do not have proper labeling on the back will not be accepted. Each contestant is encouraged to participate in photogenic and to submit additional photos!

Community Service - As a Queen with the Miss Heart of the USA Pageant you are encouraged to be as involved as possible in your community. This can be by volunteering at a local festival/fair, riding in a parade, getting involved with a local charity... the opportunities are endless. If you are competing in this optional category you will submit any events you participated in that you want the judges in know about in a scrapbook format. This will be turned in the day of the pageant at check in. This is separate from the tracking sheets you turn in to vie for the Community Queen title.

Heart Themed Casual Wear - This heart themed area of competition is a chance for you to show us your sense of style. Get creative with your outfit! This outfit can be custom made or "off the rack". Model like you are in a fashion show.

Essay - The essay optional is open to Little Miss - Mrs Divisions. This is a 1 page essay titled "Why Community Service is important to me"

Your beauty score is compiled of your scores in Self Introduction and Formalwear ONLY! So it is possible that you can win your DIVISION title without competing in any optionals. If you plan to vie for Supreme Beauty you will need to compete in ATLEAST one optional (although you are encouraged to compete in ALL optionals) your SUPREME BEAUTY score is compiled of your Self Introduction, Formalwear and ONE HIGHEST optional scores. The photogenic and community service optional are included in your entry fee.

Our pageants are food drives. Each contestant is required to turn in a minimum of 25 non perishable food items at Nationals to be donated to an organization in the Orlando area.
