11/27 - Miss Slovak Rpublic is the new Miss Bikini International

Humen, China - Not even the bad weather got in the way of the great show that was the final of the 33rd edition of Miss Bikini International. In the end it was Miss Slovak Republic, Julia Lipyakoba, who walked away with the crown, sash and USD 10,000-cash prize. "I am very proud and want to dedicate this title to my country", she told the press minutes after being crowned Miss Bikini International 2006.

The 1st runner-up was Miss China, Yang Lei, the hometown girl and crowd favorite. Miss Finland, Miriam Tulppo, was the 2nd runner-up, Miss Czech Republic, Petra Cubonova, was the 3rd runner-up, and pageant veteran, Argentina's Daniela Stucan, was the 4th runner-up.

The group of 15 semi-finalists, in ranking order, was completed by:
