Hi there my forex friend

A little about me and what I do:

Hi, this is Felix Homogratus, and I am the creator of www.forexbastards.com My legal name is Dmitri Chavkerov. Felix Homogratus is an internet nickname that I became known as. In Latin, Felix means Lucky, Homo means man, and gratus means grateful. So Felix Homogratus stands for "Lucky Grateful Man". Yes, I do feel lucky indeed, because after struggling for over 3 years, and losing thousands of dollars in my forex accounts, I finally feel at peace with my life and my trading. Currently, for an exception of a few outside investments, the only thing I do is trade forex and run my websites. I currently run the following websites: www.forexbastards.com, where in addition to unbiased reviews that you can post, I also provide free forex signals and free forex education. You can sign up for my free forex signals on the homepage.

I also run a website www.kingforexsignals.com which is a website that I created for another mentor of mine, who has been a full time trader for around 25 years, and who is currently trading millions of dollars in forex every day. He averages over $1,000,000 in profits per year, and I am glad he was kind enough to start providing his signals to the public. To enhance that service, I also give my live trade signals there as well, and I have a $2,000/month news service integrated there at no extra charge to the clients of kingforexsignals.com

My FOREX story:
My forex story started in 2003. At that time, I was part of a major dot com start up company with a few partners, one of whom actually started the very first major web design company in Europe many years ago. A friend of mine visited me, and told me a very memorable forex-related story. Few months ago, that friend was visiting Switzerland, and he got into a conversation on a ski lift, with a local guy who lived there. My friend asked him where that guy was from, and the guy pointed on a huge multi-million dollar castle up the mountain. My friend was shocked, and asked him how he made his living, so the guy replied: "I have 3 words for you son: forex, forex, forex!". Since then my friend opened his forex demo account, and had some beginner luck, with making quite a bit of money in his demo account. And of course, I got hooked to the story, and his luck, and also started experimenting with a demo account. Believe it or not, but in the first month of pretty much not knowing what I was doing, I turned my $50,000 demo account into $100,000. Obviously the wheel started turning, and I thought, wow! What if I start with only a few thousand dollars, and double it every month, I could become a billionaire! Well, you probably know what came next. I opened a real account with a few thousand dollars, and lost most of it.

During that time, there were some changes in my dot com company. There was a conflict between a few partners and investors, and the main guy decided to go back to Europe and continue the venture there. He invited me to continue working with him, but I politely denied, since to be honest with you, it wasn't my passion. Instead, I wanted to conquer this forex animal, so from 2003 to the end of 2005, I pretty much made a good living by selling some high end products on ebay, and doing some miscellaneous real estate investments. At the same time, I kept learning about forex, and kept losing money, kept learning, and kept losing money, kept finding out new forex strategies, and kept losing money. I am sure, a lot of people reading this can actually relate to this vicious cycle. Unfortunately, I was in the wrong realm, I was in the realm of technical analysis. Honestly, at that time, I really didn't know where to turn or who to learn from. The only person I knew who actually made money in forex was George Soros, but reading his materials wasn't helpful, because he is a very rich position trader, like Warren Buffett, and I wanted to be a day trader. Well, of course I also knew about our good old forex internet gurus. Who pretended to be profitable forex traders, but judging from my results, they obviously weren't.

In the beginning of December 2005, somebody recommended to me Peter Bain. I bought his course materials, and started listening to his AM Reviews, started trading, and started making some good money in my real account. I actually turned $3,700 into $5,700, during the month of December, using his techniques. I was very excited, and I thought I should share it with other forex traders, so I created a very small few pages website, where I basically posted all the different forex companies that I tried in the last 3 years, and I posted Peter Bain there, giving him 5 stars. That small website took off like a rocket. I couldn't believe the desire people had to read some unbiased opinions about different forex companies. But more than that, their desire to share their opinions with others. I kept getting emails saying, hey why don't you post this review, or why don't you post some brokers reviews, or what about managed accounts reviews? So I listened, and created the www.forexbastards.com website, and in order to stay focused and motivated, I thought I'd give people my free forex trading signals, that I was generating by using some of Peter Bain's techniques. Well, because I was providing something for free, obviously I had hundreds of people flocking to my free forex signals, and I feel bad to say this, but those signals failed miserably. During January, 2006, and February, 2006, my technical analysis signals were losing money week after week. I have to admit, I was cutting corners, and instead of watching the market during London Open, like Peter Bain suggests, I was doing the analysis before London Open, was setting up few entry orders with stops and limits, and was going to sleep. It worked for me during December, but for some reason, stopped working now, when I most needed it :) People started unsubscribing from my signals, and I felt like a total failure.

Then one of my site visitors submitted a website for me to review, which for some reason caught my eye. It was a small website, made by Tom Yeomans, and Tom was teaching people how to trade the news. At that time Tom was just entertaining himself with a small group of about 30 people, where they were trading and making money during the fundamental news announcements. This concept was completely new to me, and I told Tom that I was from forexbastards.com, and I wanted to review his service, to which he gladly agreed. To make the long story short, meeting Tom, was a turning point in my forex career. I finally found a strategy, that produced expected results every single time. When the news came out worse than expected, the market would react one predictable way, when they came out better than expected, the market would react another predictable way. I couldn't believe the fact that every week there were a few news announcements from different countries, that moved the market for over 20 pips each. I couldn't believe it...all of a sudden it felt like I arrived to a different planet. I saw those news come out, and break all technical analysis rules, and at the same time, I saw them come out, and honor all technical analysis rules. Looking at it from the news perspective, I started to feel that all technical analysis traders are simply getting lucky. I felt that economic news releases were the God of the forex market. It was totally the source of most forex movements. I quickly developed my own strategy, based on what I learned from Tom and what I saw Tom do, started making money consistently, and started sending these fundamental trades in my forex signals. Currently Tom is working on some educational materials, such as webinars, movies, and books, as soon as he comes up with it, I'll gladly email you, so that you could buy it from him, in case you are interested.

Then I met another successful forex trader out of France, who was trading almost 2 million bucks in his own trading account. I don't mean leveraged, I mean real un-leveraged money. His name is Rob Grespinet, and he was giving his signals to some friends and friends of friends via yahoo messenger. I told him that I was from forexbastards.com, and wanted to review his signals, to which he courteously agreed. I was VERY pleasantly surprised. First of all, it made sense what he was doing, and second of all, the results were unbelievable. I asked him whether he would allow me to create a website for him, and make his signals available for sale to the public, and he agreed to do that. You can get access to his signals from www.kingforexsignals.com.

My goal with forexbastards.com:
I get a lot of questions from people who ask me...why do you provide your free signals? why do you provide all this free forex education to people? What's in it for you to take your time to answer all these emails and post all these reviews? What's the catch? Let me be completely honest with you, I am not a charity, and I am certainly not interested in being a charity for forex traders. Bottom line is we are not feeding the hungry or taking care of the old, we are in the forex business, and I believe with my signals and free education, a lot of people are making money, and I wouldn't feel bad or feel wrong to charge people for my services. The only reason I run this website completely free is I want to build a forex portal, with tens of thousands of visitors. I want to build a community of people that trusts in me, trust in my trading style and results, because eventually I do want to manage money for people, because that's where I think the real money is, and I feel that by building this trust right now, when people see me start and grow, I'll have a lot of people, who may be interested for me to manage their money eventually. And since I created the www.kingforexsignals.com paid website where I give live trades, and Rob Grespinet gives live trades, I also get good amount from subscription fees to that website.

Obviously there is also a part of me that's very angry at the forex industry, because such large percentage of it consists of scammers. I've gone through a bunch of them myself, and I get emails every single day from people, complaining to me about losing thousands of dollars to these dishonest forex providers, forex brokers, money managers, who truly don't have the long term investment in their mind, but a short term goal to rip off as many people as possible, make a bunch of cash, and run. As I am writing this, my heart shrinks from sorrow, because I know every day people like you and I get scammed by these fucking forex bastards. They lose money by paying them thousands of dollars and then they lose even more money by applying their techniques in their real forex account. I even know of one guy that paid somebody $50,000 for a forex course! And now he is so ashamed of being so naive. I am really hoping to stop these bastards by having this review site.

Trading forex is like skydiving, except forex is more risky, and takes more courage, time, and skills to conquer :)
I salute all forex traders for their courage and determination!
