Subject: Balloon Festival seeks contestants!

The Mountaineer Balloon Festival is seeking contestants between the ages of 3 and 21 for the titles of “2009 Miss Balloon Festival”.

The Balloon Festival has been filling the skies above Morgantown with its beauty and splendor since 1984, now 25 years later we will crown our inaugural titleholders in our Tiny Miss, Little Miss, Young Miss and Junior Miss divisions and that young lady could be YOU! After a one year hiatus, we are bringing back the titles of Miss Balloon Festival Teen and Miss Balloon Festival Queen.

We encourage the bright and beautiful ladies of West Virginia to join us on October 10th in Morgantown at Mylan Park for the Mountaineer Balloon Festival for our six breath taking pageants.

The phases of competition will include: personal interview, street wear, evening gown and on stage question for both teen and queen delegates. Junior royalty will compete in pageant attire only and have an on stage interview with questions asked only from their applications.

Our queen will be awarded an all expense paid trip to represent our festival at the West Virginia Association of Fairs and Festivals in Jan. 2010. $500.00 cash, a custom made sash, a beautiful crown, a plaque and a ride in a hot air balloon!

Entry fee for Queens ~ $100.00 (16~21)
Teens ~ $65.00 (13~15)
Young Miss ~ $50.00 (11~12)
Junior Miss~ $50.00 (8~10)
Little Miss ~ $50.00 (5~7)
Tiny Miss ~ $50.00 (3~4)
DEADLINE ~ SEPTEMBER 26th, due to newspaper and program deadlines.
