Kalau nak makan, sekaranglah masa nak makan macam-macam.

Pi Supermarket, berebut 'jual murah', Pi bazar Ramadan, berebut kuih.Pi mesjid, berebut bubur lambok. Sapa nak buboq Masjid Kelawai, kat Gurney Drive, mesti mai awal.Pukul lima dah habih.

So, Ramadan bukanlah bulan yang 'quiet', tapi penuh dengan 'action'.

Politik pun macam tu jugak. Kalau bukan bulan puasa, dok bersengkang mata tengok ceramah. La ni dok bersengkang mata dengar takzirah. Markas Pas dok sebok buat majlis buka puasa, lepas buka puasa Isya, terawih dan Takzirah. Takzirah sampai tengah malam, baik tengok ceramah, brader. Tak ngantuk.

Puak Umno pulak, majlis buka puasa kat hotel. Ni syok sikit. Bila masuk Isya, semua hilang.

Bab politik tu aku sembang kemudian la.

Are you sure this will be the knockout blow?

Is it possible that Tun M overlooked this Article 43?

If Abdullah used Anwar as his weapon, will Tun M respond with double-knockout?

All these while we thought Abdullah is clean until Tun M showed us the other side of Abdullah. Will Tun M showed us the other side of Anwar too, when Anwar teams up with Abdullah? Will both of them knocked out by Tun M at the same time?

What we see now is Tum M is concentrating on Abdullah first. But that doesn't mean he doesn't have any weapons against Anwar. I'm sure he will use his weapons only whenever necessary.

Dear RPK

Your uncle was the Agung during that time...correct? But in this One party power in M'sia everything can be produced come crunch time. Come crunch time they will all unite to preserve their wealth & power. Even in Anwar case the Tilam can be taken to court with his semen and matching DNA.

Sometimes I do wonder if it is of any good speculating who or what things are going to happen rather than how to make rakyat angry enough to bring this one party rule to end. Perhaps this is a Malay thing...eh(the speculating)??

Anyway its Ramadan...like Christian's Easter or Hindu Deepavali or Buddist Wesak.....suddenly we become holy, patience, understanding.....yet the reality is that we are the monkeys of a beautiful flower of M'sia....some are waiting 50 years for a new Party government.....some > 9 years to change a religious Status....some 40 years to see justice serve, some just want to work and live and do business without hinderance or corruption.

My 2 cents...Pak Lah have numerous weapons...Ku Li, ISA, self destruct his party, SPR to make sure his enemies lose in snap election....so what is the point even if we can read Pak Lah's mind....the questions should be HOW CAN M'sian See a new Government in Power by stealth!!...phew that was tough to write without using the R word...all because there was no U word.....see what happens when that party is gone and Obliterated forever...lives are changed forever!!..happy belated B'day and selamat berpuasa

Drama Pak Lah - Madey -Madey ni makin lama makin syok, macam Scully - Mulder - dan ..apanama yang botak tu?

Kalau dulu, bila orang kata Anwar nak masuk Umno, aku gelak saja, tapi sekarang kena pikir 2-3 kali dan perkembangan terbaru semakin menuju kearah apa yang Petra cakapkan, mungkin plotnya berbeza sikit, tapi matlamatnya mungkin serupa.

1. Pemilihan Umno tahun depan ditangguhkan selepas GE 12.

Anwar join Umno, Keadilan join BN!

1. Mula-mula dia pecat kuncu-kuncu Madey.
Yang lain diam, sebab depa tak kena.
2. Kemudian dia pecat menteri-menteri yang pro-Madey.
Yang lain diam, sebab depa tak kena.
3. Kemudian dia tangkap Madey, masa tu tak dak sapa nak tolong lagi dah.

Langkah pertama dah mula dah.

….The members really do not care a damn one way or another. They all agree that Mahathir is better than Abdullah. They all agree that Abdullah is bad news for Umno and the country…..

For a PAS supporter you do seem to speak like you are an UMNO insider and it is obvious that you wish that TDM will deliver the knock out punch to our PM.

Unfortunately, with all rules set up in favour of the incumbent… Rules made by TDM himself when he was in power… And the culture of political patronage deeply ingrained in UMNO politics…

I am afraid TDM supporters are in for a bitter disappointment.

selamat berpuasa & berhari raya.

Susah? Impossible? Malaysia Boleh??

Raja Petra said, "Islam, for example, is a religion that puts community interest as paramount and one is............". This is very true because Islamic principles as contained in the the Quraan and the examples shown by Mohammed the Rasulallah are meant to produce an ummah with "akhlaq" that is to say to produce well behaved followers/population. "Akhlaq" is necessary for interaction within and among communities so that justice, peace, harmony etc are the results from it.

Salam.

I thought you were about to dwell on the subject of the spirit of Ramadan from a grassroot's perspective until I continued reading further down the paragraphs.

Now, I don't know whether you should have continued with the spiritual nasehat about Ramadan (from your real world perspective) or thank you for this awesome analysis about the next move of AAB and the role of AI to thwart TDM.

There are no clean politicians in Malaysia, only who is less dirty.
All these bangings and sloggings and scheming, and rocking, digging ARE GOOD ThinGS, the winner may well be the rakyat. For business as usual, regardless of who takes over the PM seat, rakyat lose. Simple as that.

True, true, headache06. They could choose to 'bayar zakat', redistribute their wealth and sponsor well-deserved causes, but those good deeds (especially done without publicity) would be tame and won't trigger the much-needed adreline rush to boost the Ego!

I fully agree with you,RPK, that Anwar is the last trump card for Abdullah Badawi's survival. But than you must understand, AAB have to forget his son-in-law's political career.
Anwar is a spent bullet in UMNO circle, Mahathir after sacking him, has cleaned all UMNO branchs, Division of Anwar's conections. He has brained washed the entire UMNO circle that Anwar is running dog of USA.Najib have also done whatever damages he could do that Anwar can't make a come back after KJ met Anwar in the latter residence.
If you take a head count among UMNO Divisions, for Anwar supporters, I don't think there will be more than 10 to 15%. But when UMNO Supreme Council was toying the idea of sacking Mahathir, one Supreme Council Member told AAB, don't even think about it!!
Maybe sacking Anwar was not legal but than TDM will definetly have documents that will show that the YDPertuan Agong have given his consent. During one private party in overseas, one Sultan revealed that Mahathir have pre signed letters of consent from the YDPertuan Agong for all matters that required the King's consent. His(Mahathir) explaination was that if he need the King's consent for emergency, which cannot wait, he need to use these letters. After all, all the YDPertuan Agong who served during his period were under his control!!!!!!!!

What irritates me is that Pak Lah should be focusing on delivering on his promises to the electorate.
I really don't care if it was a donkey running the country as long as he/she did it well.
At the moment we are living in a land without leadership or direction as we have 2 old grumpy men throwing shit at each other and forgetting that it is the rakyar who matters.

If Anwar comes in fine - as long as he delivers on his "Malaysian" vision.

If you think that these politician are interested in working for the rakyat, it time you examined whether you are being too naive. TDM, AAB, NTM and anybody you care to name require a certain innate quality, like performers and actors.

The requirements for political success also require one to be a great actor. Just as in successful actors, when the roles change, the behavior has to change. When one plays a minor role, one acts in that capacity.

In a minor role, the minor politician works for the bigger roles. As he moves up the pecking order, he changes his acting to portray the new situation. When he finally gets into the lead position, he turns into a bigger and more gifted icon. The successful politician needs to be a good 'actor' and conman.

YOU CAN FOOL ALL THE PEOPLE SOME OF THE TIME and SOME OF PEOPLE ALL THE TIME. BUT YOU CAN'T FOOL ALL THE PEOPLE ALL THE TIME. But 'some of the time' is good enough....... like 22 years.

Its very rare to be blessed with a Ghandhi.
